Addicted to your cellphone? Nomophobia on the rise
Tue May 8, 2012
Well put. I dont have a cell phone and see absolutley no need to get one. I spend my time reading, writing, listening to music, going to the gym, walking my dogs , playing w/ my baby and actually talking to people. In other words LIVING. I shake my head constantly at all the robots I see spending th …

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed Thor. I thought the visuals, particularly Asgard, were among the best I have ever seen on screen. It moved along well and had fantastic action scenes. I might be in the minority, but I thought the Dark Knight was too drawn out and wildly over rated. I think much o …
America's best cities for pizza

Definitely. I may be biased, but I have had pizza in most major metropolitan areas and I have to say for variety and quality, Buffalo is tops. Florida and (most of) California? Dont bother.
Mexico risks losing large areas to drug cartels
Wed Feb 16, 2011
Yeah that' s it; lets solve the problem of senseless murders and violence by fire bombing and "nuking" thousands or, perhaps, millions of people. Most of whom would be innocents. Why 'The Simpsons' took aim at Fox News again
Tue Nov 30, 2010
Faux News is geared toward a very specific demographic and they know what it is; although they will never admit it. Basically the Fox ideal viewer is white, high school (no further) educated, conservative and paranoid as hell. Simpsons nailed it, Bill O knows it and can't handle the reality.
South celebrates Civil War, largely without slaves
Tue Nov 30, 2010
How ironic that you use the name "patriot" while defending the secession of the Southern states which was an attempt to DESTROY the very nation you claim now to support! you are another delusional apologist who cant (or wont) see that the "states rights" the South fought to uphold was, primarily, th …
